This is Vol 6 of the 32 volume set "Early Western Travels 1748-1846", a series of annotated reprints of some of the best & rarest volumes of travel written during the early settlement of America, edited with notes, introduction, index, etc by Reuben Thwaites, who was an American Historical writer....contents page (photo 4) reads in part "journal of a voyage up the river Missouri, performed in 1811, written by H M Brckenridge...narrative of a voyage to the northwest coast of America in the years 1811, 1812, 1813, and 1814 or the first American settlement on the Pacific by Gabriel Franchere, translated and edited by J V Huntington..book published by The Arthur H Clark Company, copyright 1904....photo 8 is a partial "table of contents".....

hard back cover displays wear, corner bumps, top & bottom spine shelf wear, a small frayed area at top edge of front board...spine is strong, all pages attached....book is complete, contains 410 pages...interior pages are nice, a few finger smudges here & there, no page tears or creasing noted...several outer page edges have not been cut....book measures 9 1/2" X 6 1/2"...great book to add to your collection..
