This is volume 7 of the 32 volume series "Early Western Travels 1748-1846" , this 32 volume set is a series of annotated reprints of some of the best & rarest volumes of travel during the early settlement of America, each volume is edited with notes, introduction, index, etc by Reuben Thwaites who was an American Historical writer.....title & content page reads in part "Adventures of the first settlers on the Oregon or Columbia River, 1810-1813 by Alexander Ross"....being a narrative of the expedition fitted out by John Jacob Astor, to establish the Pacific Fur Company...with an account of the Indian Tribes on the coast of the Pacific..Alexander Ross, one of the adventurers"....comes with fold out map (photo 6)...photo 8 being a partial list of "table of contents".....

hard back cover displays wear/edge wear, corner bumps, front cover having a strip of water spotting by outer edge, top and bottom spine shelf wear....spine is strong, all pages attached....book is complete, contains 332 pages...title page having some finger smudges, otherwise, interior pages are nice, no page tears or creasing noted....several pages are not cut at page ends (see example last photo)...book measures 9 1/2" X 6 1/2"....great book to add to your collection..
