Great reading contained in this 1871 report from the Commissioner of Indian Affairs to the Secretary of the Interior, published by the Government Publishing Company...report contains very interesting letters & reports regarding indian tribes, indian chiefs, reservations, dealing with problems, condition of tribes, crops, supplies needed, bunches of other subjects...I took photos of a few of the letters/reports for you to review, these reports are a real learning experience as to what was happening within the many tribes during this time...come with a couple fold out charts...
hard back cover displays wear, corner bumps, top & bottom spine wear with chipping to material..spine is strong, all pages attached...book is complete, contains 706 pages....interior pages are nice, light soiling at beginning & at end of book, a finger smudge here & there, fold out charts have some short tears...no tears or creasing to pages noted...book measures 9" X 6", 1 3/4"thick...great book you will enjoy having...
