This humorous story, Pigs is Pigs, written by Ellis Parker Butler, Illustrated by Will Crawford and published by A L Burt Company...is about a train agent, back in the day, who decides to charge a customer for shipping 2 Guinea pigs as large stock pigs instead of small domestic animals because he deems "Pigs is Pigs" and believe the word "Guinea" is the pigs country of origin...the book will take you thru all the troubles he incurs by doing so....this short story was first published in the American Illustrated Magazine in 1905, so popular that it was published in book form in 1906...
hard back cover displays wear, soiling, 2 edge bumps, corner bumps, spine is slightly soft, book is solid, all pages attached..book is complete, contains 37 pages..interior pages are nice, very minimal age toning, probably a finger smudge here & there altho I see any, one top corner page having a crease, no tears noted...book measures 7" X 4 1/2"...great book to add to your collection..
