Here is an amazing example of the work of E. J. D Bodley featuring a pink cup & saucer with Aesthetic period decoration featuring a variety of different birds. The cup has a twig handle, and the resting rings of cup & saucer have a raised geometric pattern. As you can see by the pictures there ar two hairline cracks in the cup. I very rarely put up any ads where the pieces are damaged, but this highly collectable example may be worth restoration by the buyer. The cup measures approx. 2 1/4" tall, 3 1/8" across and the saucer is 5 5/8" across. Besides the already mentioned hairlines to the cup, the pieces are really in good condition with no chips and only light gold loss. I have taken the damage into consideration when pricing this set The registration mark dates this set to February 14, 1881
