Here is a 1906 Black Americana real life postcard published by the Detroit Photographic Co, entitled "I wasn't born to labor", depicting a young black child leaning up against bales of cotton, obviously working as hard as an adult. The card is in very good condition with the exception of light corner bends/fraying, and staining/discoloration.
