Here is a very uncommon monogrammed coin silver serving spoon made by Tompkins & Morris, Jewelers who, I believe made this in Bangor Maine between 1850 and 1860. I have numerous silver reference books and can find no firm evidence to suggest that, in fact, there was a silversmith by that name. If anyone has any information and is willing to share it would certainly be appreciated. The spoon measures approx. 7" long, with the bowl measuring 1 3/8" wide at its widest point, 2 1/2" long and is in excellent condition with the exception of tarnish
