Here is a lovely Vintage Vanity Fair Full Slip in a soft Silvery Gray, ca. late 1970s.
This gorgeous slip is made from Nylon Antron III and is tagged Size 38 TT.
The front bodice is constructed of soft lace with scalloped edges which is fully lined in a layer of invisible soft chiffon. The back of the bodice is trimmed with ½" lace. The empire waist is shaped into three soft scallops at the front. The skirt is A-line style and the hem is trimmed with 3 ½" of the same lace as the bodice with a coordinating tape lace to hide the seam.
Measurements (taken on the front of flat garment) are:
Underarm to underarm: 19" Waist: ( 3" below seam) 17" Hips: 21 ½" (9" below waist area) Underarm to Hem: 33 ½", includes 4 ¼" Lace Trim.
The adjustable straps are 3/8" wide. Original Vanity Fair label is intact.
This classic full slip is in excellent vintage condition with no rips, tears or stains. It looks barely worn! Nonetheless, it has been freshly cleaned for you.
