This circa 1925-1930 ART DECO Egyptian Revival Parure is a highly collectible Book Piece. As featured in several collectible jewelry guides. One specifically, the 1990's Ettingers' "Popular Jewelry 1840-1940" guide, proudly highlighted on the introduction page 8.
This full parure coral feature colorful faux coral & turquoise blue faience tubular beads with brass filigree findings. The necklace measures 17 1/4" long end to end and can be adjusted down with the hook closure. Shortening into more of a BIB or COLLAR style is very flattering to the neckline. Clip back earrings measuring 2 1/4" long. The bracelet features an unusual trombone closure that slides into the opposite end and latches into place in the grooved area. The matching bracelet measuring 7 3/4" long.
A colorful and dramatic parure with the then suggested price of 450-500 in the 90's guide, prices on these type of collector pieces continue to rise.
