Offering this beautiful ART DECO Era Necklace. Featuring a centerpiece designed with a square carnelian glass center flanked by small simulated bead pearls and a black and carnelian colored enamel work. The decorative lings are embellished in two places with black and carnelian colored enamel. The rectangular links upon close inspection are finished with a decorative swirl ribbon flourishes. The older clasp is in good working order. The simulated seed pearls have mostly lost their nacre and have left them looking like faux moonstones. The close ups show that this does not diminish the look of this older Deco Era piece. A lot of attention to detail on the chain section, the spacer links between the larger rectangular are decorative with a liner border to the top and bottom of the small spacers. Then the chain widens in the areas where the vertical enameled links are placed.
The older style clasp has remained in good working order. The length from end of the clasp to opposite jump ring is 18 1/2" long.
All enameling has remained intact and nice, as well.
