Men's late 1940s or very early 1950s vintage necktie with a Mid Century Modern geometric print on brown rayon; Van Cruise Line for Van Heusen. I can just picture the advertising for this necktie in a magazine; back in the day when "cruising" on a steamship was a new thing!
Measurements: 50 inches long X 4-1/2 inches at the widest point. Great example of Mid Century Modern men's fashion.
The cocoa brown rayon fabric is printed with a geometric pattern that zig zags with arrow like points. The cream and deep orange print is a great contrast. This seven fold tie is lined in white silk and is clean and in, above excellent condition.
Authentic old neckties in this condition are getting very hard to find. I always combine shipping on multiple orders and refund any overcharge of postage a/o insurance.
