From the 1940s, this men's robe, dressing gown, smoking jacket is made of silky spun rayon and is in above excellent condition; size medium.
Very smooth, lightweight, silky spun rayon with a pattern of yellow squares on a navy blue field. Label: Parkway by Rice-Stix. Circa 1946.
One piece robe features : self fabric faced shawl collar running down the front of the robe. Set in, wrist length sleeves are cut full and have tailored cuffs, pockets at the chest and each hip and long self fabric belt.
Front and back panels are cut as one, with no yokes so, there is no break in the pattern.
Measurements in inches: chest: 42, waist 42, hip 44, Across upper back 17, sleeve length 33, center back to hem 49, belt is 70 inches long.
Robe is unlined, meant to fit loose. This is a soft, flowing fabric.
Excellent condition, lightly worn and well kept, clean, no holes stains or odors. Machine washable on gentle.
