Superb filigree in sterling and an open back, sparkling blue rhinestone to simulate a sapphire. I can only imagine the hand crafting that went into making this piece. Most of the stones in this style bracelet were faux. If this is a real sapphire; you are really getting a bargain. I am not a gemologist nor have I had the stone looked at by a jeweler. Even if faux it is gorgeous.
The quality and craftsmanship of this bracelet is amazing. In ABOVE excellent condition after all these years. Clearly marked Sterling and Esemco on the slide and lock clasp.
Esemco established in 1906 in Newark, N.J. produced fine jewelry until the mid 1980s. This is a very early piece made about 1920.
A STRONG bracelet, that will delight for many decades
