This 1960s brooch and earring set is a punch of bright pink flower power with a swirling pinwheel design. Mint condition and measuring: Brooch 3 inches X 2-5/8 inches, Earrings 1-5/8 X 1-1/4 inches. Big and bold. The last picture shows how the brooch fills my hand with glorious color.
Fantastic set! Bold, lightweight and ready for your summer of 60s fun! Minty, minty condition.
This set is not the typical enameled metal flower jewelry from the 1960s. The only metal is in the pin mechanism and clips. The Pink is all, flexible, plastic.
The button centers and arched, layered petals are lightweight. Coated with rich color they are amazing. Iconic examples of costume jewelry of the era.
The pin back and clasps on the clip earrings are gold tone metal. This is the only part of the set that is metal. The rest of the set is lightweight and easy to wear.
I do not know who made this. If someone has a clue, I would be delighted to hear from you. This set is not signed. The lady who sold me her jewelry collection bought only the best; high end costume pieces, like Schiaparelli, Hobe' and Schreiner. Her 60s plastics are so fun. This was not from a five and dime store! Someone really needs to write a book about the Flower Power jewelry of the 1960s.
