This vintage cloth face Dutch Girl doll is circa 1940 and has all of her original clothes. She measures 12 inches tall with darling hand painted features.
The body is all cotton and feels like it is filled with cotton as well. The face is molded fabric and very well done. The fabric on the back of her head is blue floral cotton.
Her hat is made from pale pink, cotton pique fabric and ties under her chin with a pink satin ribbon. The antique white cotton blouse, gathered high at the cap, is trimmed with deep blue at the cuffs. Narrow lace trims the neckline. There is a black button at the back. The blouse is attached to her orange cotton skirt at the natural waistline.
Her blue felt cummerbund has baby rick - rack decoration and ties at the back. It is attached to the apron at the front. Her apron is made with all cotton fabrics; printed voile, yellow a ruffle of yellow batiste trims the apron at the hem. There is an accent of teeny, tiny rick rack. It ties at the back with pink taffeta ribbon.
Her underskirt is a stiffened open weave cotton muslin. Her pantaloons are the same fabric as her hat.
She is clean and in above excellent condition. There is one tiny pin head size dot on one cheek. I don't think it is a beauty mark. There is a 1/2 inch seam separation on the back center seam of her hat.
