1940s - 1950s Arranbee R & B Ballerina Doll Original Clothes and Gold Metallic Shoes. She is approximately 17 inches tall. She is marked on the back of her head. There are a lot of pictures provided. Please see them all and send any questions.
Her hair is in its original upswept, braided style. Her bright eyes open and close and are just a tiny bit sticky. All painted features are lovely. What a darling face.
All joints are strong and move easily. She needs some cleaning; which I will not attempt to do. Overall she is clean. There are some marks on her body that I've tried to show in the pictures.
Her yellow dress with gold metallic rick rack and tulle overskirt are in very good condition as are her satin panties and underskirt. They show some wear and could use laundering. There is no odor. All snaps are in place.
The fabric flowers in her hair and on her wrist show wear as does the rick rack. Her gold lame' shoes are original. Part of the sole of one shoe is missing. The satin ribbons one the shoes are quite worn; this is an easy replacement.
Her fingers are very nice with no breaks or chew marks. The front of her feet are fine. The heels show minor wear. She is priced accordingly. Overall this doll is in very good condition. She just needs some loving care. This will be a wonderful and rewarding project for a collector.
She will be carefully packed with her clothes in a bag. The ballerina will be carefully packed and sent via Priority Mail in the USA. Tracking and insurance are included while she is On Sale. International rates vary.
