Vintage Olga Nightgown and Peignoir Gown and Robe True Baby Blue Medium Size. This hard to find set includes the original belt for the robe. All pieces are in superb condition. Lightly worn, carefully kept, fresh and clean; ready for a Valentine's Day gift it is Circa 1990.
Measurements in inches:
Gown: Bust up to 34, waist up to 29, hip up to 48, length from shoulder to hem 39, sweep at hemline 132 inches.
Robe: Bust up to 38, waist free, hip free, length from shoulder to hem 42, sleeve from shoulder to hem 22, across upper back 15, sweep at hem 66 inches. Belt: 72 inches.
Knee length Olga gowns are relatively hard to find. To have the matching peignoir is a bonus.
Both pieces are lavishly trimmed in scalloped lace. The gown has lace around the front and back neckline, at the bust and below the waist. This is the signature OLGA LACE that stretches to fit a gathered bodice. The fabric of the bodice and back are a blend of Spandex and nylon to gently lift in front and smooth in back. The full skirt sweeps and falls to the knee on an average frame.
Matching nylon peignoir has wrist length sleeves and lace trimmed cuffs, beautiful lace at the shoulders, around the neckline, down the front and all around the hem. The original self fabric belt slides through guides at the waist to hold in fullness if you like. There is a lavish use of lace.
This is style # 9307. The fit of an Olga gown is fabulous and the color is forever vivid! I have never seen an Olga nightgown fade. Easy wear, easy care. Machine wash on gentle as I did, when needed.
Condition is above excellent. No stains, holes or signs of significant wear. From a smoke free, pet free home.
