Fashion from this era is featured in this issue and it is so fun! The Butterick Publishing Company was founded by Ebenezer Butterick to distribute the first graded sewing patterns. The Delineator magazine served as a means to sell these paper patterns via mail order. By 1929 the magazine had added needlework, articles for housewives about homemaking, décor and to a lesser extent cooking. Fictional stories proved to be very popular.
There are wonderful advertising pages of products that may still be with us; but have changed so much! Just a few pictures are shown.
Condition is very good for a paper item that is over 90 years old! The covers have some bends, some wear and the front cover has a taped tear. There are a couple of small ads a/o pictures cut out. These are Very Small. The magazine is clean and from a smoke free home.
