Made for a rendition of the Nativity for one of the Three Wiseman; this adult size cape is made from black polyester. It is lavishly trimmed and embroidered with gold tone metallic embellishments. Fit for a King!

One piece, unlined cape with an attached hood has buttons at the throat. There are no arm slits or pockets. Cut on the bias this medium weight polyester fabric flows and drapes like a dream.  Dramatic stage presentation!

The trim is gold tone braid, sequins and soutache. This trim is around all edges and around the opening of the hood. There is a long tassel at the peak of the hood made of gold tone metallic threads.

It is appropriate for anyone 5 foot - 6 foot. I am 5 foot 5 inches and the back drags on the ground when I tried it on. Of course it does not have to drag on the ground for the proper, royal affect. Not a good choice for a child. Wide enough across the shoulders for an adult. It is slightly longer in back than at the front opening. Very elegant.
