Victorian Child's Beaver Fur Muff Down Filled 1900. A true antique and just as charming as one could want. In excellent condition this little girls winter accessory measures 7-1/2 inches wide and is 18-1/2 inches around. The opening is about 2-1/4 inch across. This will fit a child's hand. The black grosgrain ribbon is approximately 36 inches around and is 1/2 inch wide.

Antique real fur muff is very soft and clean. The beaver fur is shades of brown with almost black highlights. The black lining appears to be cotton. It is stuffed with fine white goose down. It is very soft, plush and will certainly do the job of keeping a little girl's hands warm. I believe the narrow ribbon is a replacement.

Condition is excellent. There must be a stitch or two missing in the lining as flits of down are trying to escape.
