Stunning Surrealistic Artisan Brooch With Pearls OOAK. Very unusual, with fresh water pearls. In mint condition circa 1989. It measures: 3-3/4 inches X 2 inches. This is a very unusual piece. Excellent work with strong materials. This is a hand wrought, One of a Kind brooch.

Made of silver tone metal that is very, very strong. It presents as sterling with acquired patina. It does not attract a magnet. This dense, metal is bent, curled and has a screw shaped body.

Three of the six curling tendrils are tipped with fresh water pearls. The concave sections of the screw like body have a soft pinkish orange applied color.

Very, very strong pin mechanism. This is an extremely well made piece. Not made by an armature. A skilled artisan with advanced metal working skills, created this One of A Kind brooch.

Call it what you like: Steampunk, Brutalist, New Age, or Surrealistic inspired.
This is a unique, hand crafted artisan piece. In above excellent condition. From my own collection circa 1989. It is strong enough to hold a heavier scarf in place.
