1940s Cocktail Dress Sewing Pattern Bust 32 Uncut; mint with tissue pieces still in the factory folds. Measurements: By the New York pattern company circa 1947. This is a very hard to find pattern. Bust 32, waist 25, hip 35. Drafted just after World War II. Circa 1947.
One piece dress features: Shirring at the shoulders with optional button accents, Choice of high neck or square cut. Set in sleeves may be wrist length, 3/4 or short and frilly. Bodice has front bust darts and back darts at the waistline.
Three piece, accordion pleated skirt or knife pleated skirt joins the bodice at the natural waist line. Draped front panel is bias cut, gathered, shaped and ties at center back. Closes with buttons at side opening or short side zipper.
Unprinted pattern is complete with instructions for, laying out the pattern, cutting, sewing and finishing the garments shown on the envelope. Mint in the factory folds!
