Four antique fine cotton lawn napkins with tatted lace trim and butterflies circa 1915. Each measures approximately 15 inches X 16-1/2. These are made of true lawn cotton that is very, very soft and has a slight luster. The tatted lace edge and figural butterflies are cotton.
Very white and so lovely. They are in above excellent condition. I found 1 spot less than the size of a grain of rice. One of the butterflies has some light discoloration if viewed in strong light.
No holes, no breaks in the lace. They are just beautiful. Starching would bring out the images better than shown,
If you don't need them for the intended purpose; they would be lovely for making clothes for antique dolls.
