1930s Cotton Flour - Feed Sack Fabric Art Deco Baskets of Flowers with an Art Deco design; in a large size. This piece could be from the mid to late 1920's given the strong Art Deco motif. Such designs are hard to find. A vast majority of the prints on these cotton sacks were flower designs. It is a treat to offer it to collectors.
This is a charming print. It measures: 44 inches long and is X 38 inches wide from selvage to selvage. This would have been used for a large bag of flour. Unique and very hard to find .
When held up to the light the old stitch lines can be seen. Mint, clean condition with some minor fraying along the ends. This was washed, folded and put away for about 80 years.
Vivid print of stylized flowers in pots or baskets. Deep, deep navy blue, pink, red and green on a true white field. Each motif is approximately 1-1/4 inch across.
Use for quilt and clothing projects or a DIY sewing project. Great to find this large size in such mint condition,
The original stitch lines show at one end of this great old piece. It has been washed and ironed and is in minty clean condition.
