Gorgeous, large antique golf trophy. Approximately 11 inches tall, 9 inches wide, 5 1/4 inches in diameter at the top and 4 1/2 inches in diameter at the bottom. Sterling silver over bronze with a copper insert. The silver is applied over the bronze and reads: GOLFERS MAGAZINE Handicap Trophy Won by: A.C. NELSON 1916 (the name and date are engraved). Beautiful vine and leaf design in silver in both sides. Marked on the bottom with the Heintz Art Metal hallmark, 6550, STERLING ON BRONZE, PAT.AUG.27,12 (for 1912). C.D, Peacock CHICAGO is hand engraved below. Aside from being slightly out of round, the trophy is in excellent condition. I have left it unpolished and in original condition. Please feel fed to ask any questions.
