Cristalleries de Nancy Ruby Overlay Cut Crystal Dresser Set = Cut in alternating pillars accented with start and printies. The stopper is in the shape most frequently seen in Nancy bottles and is cut to match. Cristalleries de Nancy was established in 1921, achieving the height of its success by winning a gold medal at the 1925 Art Deco Exhibition in Paris before going bankrupt in 1934. High-end perfume bottles were the company's specialty throughout its history.
THIS IS THE ONLY SET I HAVE FOUND ON THE NET.
Found a few bottles sold individually - not of this colour: One bottle retails at $600 approximately. No element of this exact model found. A complete set of this quality - a true rare opportunity - if not unique - to find such collectibles in great condition.
RARE & OUTSTANDING!
Our pricing is quite low for items of such caliber and prestige.
In response to a wealthy landowners request to make the best use of the natural resources of the infertile Baccarat region of France, King Louis XV created "Compagnie des Cristalleries de Baccarat" in 1765 by royal decree. The renowned company was the first French glassworks firm established to directly compete with imported Bohemian counterparts. The Baccarat firm also made a large contribution to the nation's economy by providing work for the local wood cutters and accelerating the region's recovery following the destruction of the Seven Years War. The creation of Baccarat generated revenue for the community while creating a product that was in high demand.
