An early 20th-Century carved oak wall bracket in the form of a lamb held by a hand. It is solid oak and quite well carved. I would consider it to be a folk art piece, carved by a rather talented novice. A small decorative object would be lovely placed on it; it is ready to hang. The moment I saw it, I thought of the parable that Jesus told about the lost sheep. This bracket was found in a small village north of London.
