19th-Century English solid brass hearth and jam pot with forged iron fixed handle. This lovely antique pan was typically called a jam pot used for making jams and jellies. It has a rolled top edge and weighs an impressive 8.5 pounds. It is decorative and fully functional, use it to corral fruit on an island, magazines, or kindling next to a fireplace.
