A fine English spirit barrel made of lustre salt glazed heavy stoneware with a royal crest, decorated reliefs of the arms of England and bagpipers on both sides. Circa 1880, it may be attributed to Doulton Lambeth, It was used to serve spirits, probably cider. It has great character and is a wonderful, decorative piece. Found in Lincolnshire, England.

Condition: antique with normal wear, minor chips.
