A 18th-Century Dutch Delft faience tile with a pair of cavaliers. It is hand molded and hand painted with cobalt blue. The corners of the tile are also decorated and it is framed in an old oak frame. Ready to hang, hanging hardware included. It is a delightful painting of 2 cavaliers. The term cavalier is closely associated with the elaborate court costumes, plumed hats, cuffs, lace and long curls of Royalists of Charles' court in England.
