An 18th-Century Dutch Delft chinoiserie charger with a figure in a landscape with trees, a building, and water. It is hand painted in the traditional cobalt blue and white. It has a double geometric border. Faience pottery, it was done to imitate Chinese export porcelain wares during the late 1700's. Like most antique Delft, it is unmarked. Delft with figures are rare. It is just one of several from our latest shipment!
Dimensions: 12" Diameter x 2" Height
Condition: Very good antique condition for 200+ years, light fritting, minor chips to rim. Note, small glaze loss on reverse.
