A 19th-Century English oak joint stool. It is pegged with mortise and tenon construction. This early Georgian stool has hand turned legs, a carved apron, and a decorative top. This stool is a classic hand made piece of English seating. It has the original surface and patina. It is sturdy and functional and also can be used as a low beverage table. I keep one adjacent to my favorite chair piled with magazines.
Dimensions: 17.5"L x 10"W x 17.5"H.
Condition: Very good antique condition, with age appropriate wear, just what one wants to see. The wear authenticates this early piece.
