An early antique English pegged oak joint stool we found in the Cotswolds, England. We estimate the age to be 18th-Century. It is hand made and has a lovely hand carved apron with a stylized geometric design. It is in very good condition with original surface and patina and a few nicks, just the sort of wear one expects to find in an authentic early stool. It is solid and sturdy - perfect for extra seating, a footstool or can be used as a low beverage table adjacent to your favorite chair. We find fewer of these wonderful early stools in our travels, they are increasingly difficult to find.
Dimensions: 18.5" Length x 10.5" Depth x 20" Height
Condition: Very good antique condition, age wear, nicks consistent with age and use, minor restoration to one foot.
