Circa 1830, Helter Skelter pattern English ironstone dinner plates, 4 available. These beautiful antique 19th-Century plates are heavy china, hand painted with Chinese red and cobalt blue with gilt edges over a red transfer. They are a chinoiserie design and have a center tower with a spiral slide around it - the 'helter skelter'. They have a lovely scalloped edge. Maker is either: Hicks, Meigh & Johnson, or John Ridgway. Reverse: 'Real Stone China' and Crown.
