Bone Parasol Umbrella Stanhope Sewing Needle Case in very fine condition shows six views of Dublin Ireland. It was made in France circa 1890. The handle unscrews from the hollow umbrella to hold and access the needles. There are 2 needles inside that are included. The needles are likely more modern than the case itself. The stanhope is housed in the ball shaped handle grip and it is in exceptional condition and very clear and easy to read. The image is titled "A Memory of Dublin". The six tiny microphotos are individually titled as follows:
Bank of Ireland
St. Patrick's Cathedral
Condition: Very nice antique estate condition with no cracks or damage but does show careful use and wear with nice patina. There is a bit of chipping around the stanhope hole but this is common and normal and occurred as it was made. Please see the photos.
