Victorian Rose Gold Garnet Ladies Ring Napoleon & Garibaldi Double Stanhope Rare & Unique
A RARE CHANCE TO OWN This gorgeous Victorian circa 1860-75 14 karat rose gold ladies ring, set with an oval cut and faceted Rhodolite garnet, and exquisite hand engraving on the top portion of the shank. The stone measures approximately 8 mm x 6 mm and is securely mounted in it's 8-prong setting. The stone is flanked by two gold tubes, each containing a tiny stanhope lens. Holding the ring close to your eye will reveal a clear image of French Imperial Emperor Napoleon III on one side and a similarly clear view of Italian Statesman & General Giuseppe Garibaldi on the other side. This fine ring has been acid tested by a professional jeweler to assure the quality of the metal to 14 carat and the Garnet has been evaluated/tested to insure it's authenticity.
