Nice Vintage Tapestry dating from 1920-30's. The subject matter appears to be a caravan, a group of people traveling together, often on a trade expedition. Caravans were used mainly in desert areas and throughout the Silk Road, where traveling in groups aided in defense against bandits as well as helping to improve economies of scale in trade. Tapestry is in good condition with some of the outer fringe missing as shown and a very small tear in the upper right corner. Both of these flaws would not be visible if you decide to frame it. Nice long and narrow piece. DIMENSIONS: Width: 58 1/2 Inches Height: 19 3/4 Inches. Shipping Additional. Please call with any questions and for a shipping quote 410-745-3700.
