Offered is a lovely piece of glass in Cambridge's "Ivory" color, which was introduced in 1924. The piece is a low comport from the "Special Articles” line and appears in the original Cambridge catalogs as Catalog Item #251. This particular comport features gold trim and a fired-on enamel floral treatment with a green and orange background. The diameter is 6” and it stands approximately 4.5” tall. There is light wear to the gold commensurate with its age of 90+ years but the enamel is in mint condition. All in all, it is an excellent example of decorated Ivory.
