Fresh from a Sarasota, Florida estate is this wonderful 4-footed bowl made by Cambridge Glass. The bowl is crystal and is etched with gold-encrusted Rosepoint. As the photos show, the gold is in mint condition and the bowl was probably never used. As listed in the old Cambridge catalogs, this is a 12" bowl and part of their 3400 line. Height is 4". Rosepoint was Cambridge’s most popular etch and was in production from 1935 until the factory closed in 1958. It was a favorite of brides and was not only used on stemware, but on plates, serving pieces, candle holders, and vases as well.
There are no chips, cracks, or dings and again, the gold is pristine. As always, thank you for looking and please email or call with any questions or requests for additional photos.
