Fresh from a SW Florida estate is this wonderful vintage 14K gold charm bracelet for sale. The chain is marked 14K and has 6 charms total. The charms consist of a 14K gold Leo zodiac charm with small amethyst, three gold-filled hair lockets with semi-precious stones, a vintage 22K gold Venezuelan Bolivar liberation medal, and a charm commemorating the SS Santa Rosa. One of the hair lockets has a tiger head on it also with semi-precious stones in its eyes and mouth. Please note that the largest of three lockets lacks its inner glass pane.
The SS Santa Rosa charm bears what I believe is a gold content stamp at the very top but I cannot make it out. The charm also is faintly inscribed "Curacao" on its reverse. The ship was originally part of the Grace Sailing Line and her maiden voyage was in 1932.
The Bolivar medal seems to be fairly scarce. It measures 17mm in diameter and contains approximately 3 grams of 22K gold. The gold surround is marked at the top and appears to read 10K, although it is barely legible.
The total weight of the bracelet is 72.5 grams and length is 7.5" end to end. The effective length is closer to 7" when the elaborate clasp is taken into account. My sense is that most of the charms all date to the first half of the 20th century, with the lockets likely dating to the first quarter of the 20th century.
