This wonderful 6” covered candy dates to circa 1927-1929 and can be seen in the Cambridge Glass Company catalog of the same time period. The catalog lists it as Item #864. The top rim of the bowl is covered with silk-screened gold and the lid features a keyhole handle. The lid is delicately etched with a “melon and floral” etching (#727) and also has gold hairline trim both on the keyhole handle and lid. There is a very slight loss of gold on the hairline portion of the gold trim commensurate with age and use, otherwise condition is excellent. The piece stands 6" high and is also 6" wide.
