Vintage of 1960's, pretty good sized brooch, the mystical black composition of sticks, holds a huge South Sea pearl, highlighted by 12 fine Akoya cultured pearls scattered. In 2-D abstract free form, two layers of trunk sticks, fine sterling silver with black rhodium, gold tips added. An open work design of, great contrast black and white. It functions as a slide pendant, brooch, or pin, in fine sterling silver, 925 stamped.
Textured of wire work, fine polished. A Genuine South Sea pearl, natural color of classic white, high luster with various overtones. Natural free form too drop shape, of extra large 22 mm. Together 12 gem quality of cultured pearls, perfect round of 4 mm, excellent matched all. A pin and lock on the back. Oval 10 mm bale for all fittings. Pendant measures 60 mm (closed to 2-5/8 inch) length, and 37 mm (or 1-1/2 in) width, silver - 18.8 grams. (The gold chain not included.)
