A delicious lavender amethyst pendant necklace dating to circa 1960's or so! The handmade 18k yellow gold pendant is comprised of a wonderful faceted native-cut amethyst which measures 15.60mm x 14.80mm. The estimated weight is 12.50 carats. The multiple star facets around the table of stone and pavillion reflect and twinkle in the daylight, and the colour is a soft lavender shade, very pretty! The amethyst rests in a six-claw tapered collet setting with a fancy scalloped under-rail, adding further flair! A small ring and jump ring is attached to top allowing chain to slide through, Stamped '18c' denoting 18k yellow gold.
The amethyst pendant is nicely complemented on the 24" long 9k yellow gold serpentine chain.
