This is a charming 15ct yellow & rose gold Victorian brooch with seven graduated seed pearls raised into a foliate wreath design. Once worn as a mourning brooch or pendant in the late 1800's circa. The reverse has insert's where perhaps a plait of hair or daguerreotype was once kept as remembrance of a loved one. Today this Antique jewellery piece would look stunning as a pendant on a necklace or brooch on collar, a large photo can be stored on the reverse. This piece has been XRF gold tested for 15ct gold
