A wonderful antique bangle dating back to Victorian era, circa 1890 or so! The bangle features beautiful hand engraving of floral and scroll foliage patterns .. you could almost get lost in the fine detail! and right through to the back half of bangle where it ends with an elegant slender pattern. The back half of bangle is relatively plain, besides the hand engraved pattern along edges and a portion of the front hand engraved ends. The bangle has a sturdy and smooth feel, there is an integrated tongue clasp to side, along with safety chain for extra security.
The bangle has been tested to sterling silver. No stamps are evident which is not unusual for Victorian bangles such as this one. Width of bangle measures 1.90cm and inside circumference measures 17cm.
An elegant Victorian bangle, suitable for night or day wear and would add a feminine touch to any outfit!

CONDITION: The overall condition of bangle is excellent. Besides light surface wear and a minute ding to back half of bangle, there is no damage and clasp works well with a firm click to close. Bangle has had a light polish, there is remnants of natural patina where the engraving is, adding further depth and character.
