A wonderful cross pendant, dating back to the Art Deco era, circa 1920 or so! The fanciful design has beauty, flair, intricacy, faith and religion wrapped up in one! An eye catching design which sparkles with thirteen rose-cut diamonds, contrasted with twenty French-cut sapphire doublets and a single 3/4 pearl embellished to the centre.
The delicate and immaculate workmanship features openwork with lozenge-shaped cross ends, pierced sides and milgrain finish. The bail is also decorated with a single rose-cut diamond, milgrain and beaded detail. A gorgeous abstract design with geometric patterns, indicative of the Art Deco era!
The cross pendant is hand-crafted in platinum on top and 18K yellow gold behind. No stamp is sighted, albeit cross has been XRF tested to confirm purity.
