A wonderful and fine quality antique cross dating back to the Victorian period, circa 1866! The large cross features a stunning decorative pattern of vitreous 'royal' blue and red champleve enamel. There is a piercing at each end of cross, as well as a central piercing surrounding a single granule. The reverse of cross is engraved with date "'nov.20 AD.1866" and further engraving of very elaborate letters down cross. The letters appear to read "lB" and "MB".
No stamps are evident, cross has been tested and indicates sterling silver.
Attached and included is sterling silver vintage 16" belcher chain.
