This pretty antique ring is from the Victorian period, circa 1860's! The decorative design shows off an eye-catching combination of gems with white seed pearls (cultured and imitation) along with two pink garnet topped doublets and one green paste set centrally - each individually set into a bezel/bead design which forms a cluster. The head of the ring measures 9.4mm through it's largest diameter and is bordered with a delicate beaded surround. The shank is beautifully hand engraved all the way around. There is a crisp English hallmark inside the shank for London, 12ct gold assay hallmark and letter stamp, indicating year 1864.
The ring shows some age-appropriate wear for its 154 year age! One bezel partially broken-away and some replacement seed pearls.
