A striking vintage pendant or brooch. The sterling silver Mexican artisan piece features paua shell inlays alternating with black sections- possibly onyx. The design forms a pinwheel flower. On the reverse is some stamps, which appear to be "925 STERLING" TAXCO" and the makers mark, possibly "MSA". Another stamp in corner appears to be the early eagle assay mark, however is difficult to ascertain the number. Pin and revolver clasp on the reverse along with a half loop for chain to slide through.
