A stylish antique brooch, once worn in the late 1800's to early 1900's circa on the ladies high neck collar. This lovely brooch is made from a subtle antique 9ct rose gold colour.
The brooch features one cabochon solid white opal with one natural rhodolite garnet to one side and one garnet topped doublet (composite) to the other side. Stones are bead set in an attractive 'star' design. The side stones vary slightly in shade and there is remnants of glue (just visible with magnification) on rhodolite garnet. We are surmising that the rhodolite garnet was replaced at one stage along the years.
T-bar pin and C -clasp on the reverse in great working order. There is a loop attached if you wish to wear with a safety chain (not included).
